We had a great day at Southern Cross Uni on Wednesday …

It was ‘O-Week’ – the main introductory/orientation week for new students all over Australia – & our Committee members (along with Musical Director, Ben Van Klef) held an info stall @ Southern Cross University’s Lismore Campus – replete with a sample of instruments – in an effort to snaffle a few new players for the Con Band.

Many students (& some teachers!) showed interest in the stall, with more than a handful providing their contact details & expressing strong intention to come along to check out the band at rehearsals.  The stall was a great idea & you can bet we’ll be there next year!

Our next rehearsal is tomorrow night (Monday 5th March, 5-7pm) – fingers cross that some of those lovely peeps we met at Uni will turn up to taste a Con Band rehearsal.
